2021.10.24 00:02 voidStar240 Is ripping models still possible?
Been wanting to create some Warframe props recently and wanted to use the in game models to get scale correct, and just as a general reference. Followed a few online guides (all from 2016 or prior) with ninja ripper and can get models out of the game in the *.rip format. However, when importing these models into Blende3dsMax/Noesis the scale is completely incorrect in all 3 dimensions. I tested all the plugins that come with ninja ripper 1.7.1 and none of them were able to import properly. Is this because im using an old version of ninja ripper (the only free version), or are you guys using some other method of extracting meshes?
Sorry if that was a lot, this is my first time using ninja ripper with Warframe, and I'm just really clueless as to where I went wrong.

2021.10.24 00:02 Fiveby21 House of Ashes was good... but I don't think it was actually that scary. Anyone else feeling a little disappointed?
Something about it just didn't feel scary to me. I think part of it is the free-style camera... it makes it feel too video-gamey instead of like an interactive horror movie. The sound also seemed a little off. The game felt too much like an action movie. Instead of taking from "Alien" (one of the greatest horror movies of all time) it seems they were more inspired by "Aliens" (a mildly scary action movie). I also wish they had leaned more into the supernatural side with the Sumerian stuff. (sidenote: the sumerian intro with Naram-Sin could've been WAY scarier. I think the actor who played the King fell a bit flat).
All in all, it's the best game in the Anthology series, and one that I don't regret buying. But I'm left feeling disappointed. When will we get a game that at least holds a candle to Until Dawn?

2021.10.24 00:02 ChrisTheCatR No Step Back's biggest impact
Naturally, No Step Back will have a greater impact on the main game than KR, but I wanted to ask you guys what you think about the changes coming in a month's time. Which of the changes will likely affect KR the most? Is it actually worth buying or is everything crucial being added in the free update? How severely will this affect coming KR updates?

2021.10.24 00:02 nun_atoll 23. Disillusion
Still, at least this posting was in London again. Different dwelling but in the same general area as they had lived previously. That felt a little like a blessing. And Vlad was home now, for his summer holidays, having got much taller since Christmas.
Both Luisa and Toma felt relieved, at least, that their next "assignment" was a little out of the usual vein. No chasing down some foreign agent, no backroom dealing. No, the new assignment was simply hosting work. A couple, Anton and Constanța Vladescu would be passing through London with their son, and as individuals with important familial ties to Romanian officials, they needed a good, home-like place to stay. That would be easy to provide.
Luisa was a little less than enchanted at the prospect, really, since the Vladescu child, Eugen, had been described as "fragile," and she took that to mean he would be extra work. Toma knew it was hard enough keeping up with their own children, let alone strangers, but he intended to be as helpful as possible. After all, Luisa was in delicate condition right now.
It was a Friday evening when, at last, a dark car pulled to a stop near the house. Vlad was already by the front door, excitedly peering out the side window. Eugen Vladescu was apparently around his own age, so perhaps they could become friends. Toma joined his eldest son near the window, and watched as the driver emerged, opening the rear door of the car and going immediately to open the boot.
The Vladescus did not seem to carry much luggage. Smart of them. Less hassle.
Anton Vladescu emerged first, looking exactly like his photo: tall, lean, with dark, rumpled hair shading his face. For a moment he leant back down, back into the car, and when he stood again, there was a child in his arms, presumabely Eugen, though the boy did not look quite 10 years old in Toma's opinion. More like six or seven at best. As Constanța Vladescu emerged, Toma turned his attention to her. She was also much like her photo, all severe features and swept-up blonde hair that Toma equated with her apparent background as a ballet dancer.
Before the guests even reached the door, Toma opened it, pasting on his brightest smile.
"Welcome!" he said, and thought he saw Anton's expression brighten a fraction.
Vlad hung back, looking curiously up at Eugen, but Eugen seemed disinterested in looking around, instead hiding his face against Anton's shoulder.
"Thank you," Anton Vladescu said, "for allowing us to stay in your home."
"Oh, it is no trouble. No trouble at all for a countryman."
Luisa was upstairs with Istvan and Dragomir, but now she appeared at the landing and made her way slowly down to greet their guests. Toma noted that she seemed slower even day by day. Then again, the scan indicated twins — Toma was very proud — so that she should be slowed made sense.
Introductions went well all around, though young Eugen seemed less inclined to meet new people than he was to emit a high-pitched whine.
"He is quite nervous," Anton nodded, and Constanța moved to take the boy.
Toma showed them up to the room that, as requested, they would all be sharing. For just a moment he fully saw young Eugen's face, gaunt and pale, the eyes somehow dull, the whole expression one of something like blanket outrage. When the boy was placed in a chair, he quickly scrambled to the floor and scuttled, like a beetle, under the bed. Toma thought to say something, but Constanța simply looked at him in a pleading way.
"Our Eugen is a very nervous sort," she smiled. "New places are difficult."
"Ah. Of course. Many children are similarly inclined."
"There'll be a whole generation of nothing but such nervous sorts back home," Anton grumbled, and Constanța smacked his arm.
Toma decided it was best to leave the guests to their unpacking, and he shuffled off downstairs, just in time to meet Alexandru stumping in from the back garden with Ion Barbu, the gardener, following after. It was pleasant, for a little time, to crouch down as Alexandru showed some interesting rocks he had found and Barbu complained about the hedges seeming to be "getting above themselves."
